I’ve been working on a new roblox game called PUSH OR BE PUSHED for around a month now, and I think it’s finally time to be released. Before I spend any serious money on sponsors, I need some feedback on the game. What you like, what you don’t like etc.
I couldn’t get into an actual game so I couldn’t test the gameplay but I do have a few things.
The build style is kinda clashing for me u have a medium poly shop and then a low poly chest and some other stuff that’s low poly but then all ur trees are medium poly. I’d say make it all medium poly or all low poly personally for a game like this I would change it to a low poly look
Also I’d say improve the UI a little bit it’s kinda sticking out of my screen a little
The positioning doesn’t really flow well together
Fix the ui and get ur build to the same poly and then make sure your game is actually fun and it should do pretty well.
That’s my feedback/opinion anyway not like it’s right or means anything but it’s just what I suggest
i’m not being rude. i’m just saying most #help-and-feedback:creations-feedback posts show videos of the basic gameplay, or at least explain how the game works.
i’m not talking about myself. even if you did provide a video or description, i wouldn’t have played it either way.
More Thumbnails | there’s only one, add more. A trailer would be even better, but I know that can be expensive.
In-Game:
UI
Icons look good, consistent style, but there could be less space between icons here:
well maybe cause mobile users, but yeah. a nitpick
a cool-down is shown on-screen when I try to punch, this is good
good use of eye-candy for the free rewards
Game Design
The lobby is visually nice, but there’s nothing to do it in really. I have to wait on players to join if I’m in a server by myself, which can take a while. I’m sure when advertising that wouldn’t be much an issue as right now, but still.
it was quite easy to get money from rewards and thus the trails at least at the start
there’s a lot of random events, but there could be more game-modes if that makes sense.
when the platform is tilted a lot, hitting a player is OP there as they slide quickly, sometimes at least
pressing E for a power-up or better puch
the person I was playing with is on phone and didn’t appear to have it. It’s also OP so it should prob be removed
Audio
close buttons on the shop and whatnot could have a closing sfx
Bugs
sometimes text didn’t show up for an event
there was a moment where I couldn’t be hit backward by my opponent, they thought it was the zombies who break it.

Don’t ask to Favorite on Join | right when I joined, it asked me to add to favorites. Don’t do this. I haven’t even played yet. why would I favorite it?
Buying wins is kinda dumb IMO, defeats the purpose of playing to an extent
there’s no way to opt out of force-joining a game when there are enough players. I wanted to explore the lobby more.
On that… there’s not a great way to move around the lobby.
In short, the game’s fun. It’s got slight issues and needs a bit of polishing, but maybe just more game overall.
I can see how it’d get boring after playing it for a while. Like it’s the game I play maybe once or twice for fun, not grind, and keep coming back to. It’d be even more fun with friends, maybe my siblings and I could play it sometime in the future.
I really appreciate the honest feedback! I feel like I need to explain myself with some of these issues though.
For the power-up when pressing E, that was supposed to be an admin ability but I guess I accidentally gave it to everybody.
I completely agree with you that there is no good way to move around the lobby. I was thinking about maybe increasing the player’s walk speed when they’re on a path?
Thanks for finding those bugs! I’m working on fixing them now.
It’s pretty simple and quite repetitive, and the rounds don’t last long… but it is kind of a good thing, because players that come from the sponsored page hate waiting.
Although I do have one complaint: During the time the screen is black, the player can accidentally walk off the fighting platform. It is also very easy to snipe kills by immediately pushing people off the edge since the players are spawned pretty close to each other.
Make the spawning platforms be closer to the center of the map, and maybe freeze the players for a short while so they aren’t caught off guard when they’re teleported onto the map.
