If you are going to use this for a game, I suggest you to put some text on the image with the name of the game on it. If you are going to do that, I highly suggest you to use a font.

Visually, looks great . but as an icon, what would entice me to click it ?

Looks really good but the NEW text on the top-right has a sort of odd font.
Also the Icon looks incomplete without text, maybe you could’ve added some placeholder text.
