Hello, I’m working on my World War 2 game called Operation Dragoon. I have been working on it for a few weeks and would like feedback on it. I have gathered the models from some sites where I imported them but most of the other assets where made by me in blender or in studio!
Cool. Though there is a good amount of ww2 games on roblox. What will be the that makes this game so much better than the others? How will this game adapt to ever growing fps games? How will this game hook people to keep playing. What is that wow factor that will make this game above and beyond? Otherwise looks cool.
Well since I am the only one working on this game I am taking my time with making it detailed and getting out as many bugs as possible, while also building up a community on discord with over 700 members. I also don’t plan on trying to make money off this game since I just really want to see people enjoy it, no pay to wins or anything to offset the gameplay for everyone.
Ah yes. Making money is a different aspect to developing, what I’m talking about is something that will get people to keep playing the game. So when you launch I suggest to highlight a gameplay mechanic that is outstanding, ex. Vehicles aircraft, or gamemodes.
Also not saying you meet to but I suggest getting some help on the game, will go by faster and more efficient. I’m not a pro at scripting or building, but I could possibly help you with making animations and stuff… I love the ww2 genre and know a lot about it.
Ah sorry. yes I have a point capture system that will reset after a certain amount of time to rebalance the team and the playing field, I’m also planning on using Striker tank kit in the game along with ACS 2.0.1 R6 for the weapon framework. Both are very advanced with Striker being realistic and advanced and ACS being reliable and having a medical system.
I scan my own textures for my job, and I’m allowed to use them myself. I also create land/rocks in blender. I also love creating ww1/ww2 style war landscapes. Although i havent gotten a chance to, making a ww2/ww1 war game is really fun for me.
That looks really good and very detailed, I would set the rope constraints on the telegraph poles to be a bit longer than they are right now. It gives them some realistic sag. Also maybe change the lighting technology to something that will get the most out of your beautiful build
