In my opinion, I think it’s good. I’m not a GFX artist, so I’m probably not very qualified to give legitimate feedback. I’ll rate it a 9/10, personally I think there’s too many things going on and the lighting on the character is a bit dark.
The term “teleported from another universe” means you get teleported in an abrupt, maybe you should add more dust particles coming off the teleporter, wires sparkling all over the place, that would help with the atmosphere of the overall GFX. Anyways, very nice GFX!
He could adding a image of his universe in the portal. Or it is not see through portal

the only thing Id suggest is adding an outer glow for the character or to add some kind of “aura” outside of the character so the portal would look a bit more realistic
