Feedback on my Plants vs. Zombies map development, And a request for help

Hey guys, If you didn’t know I’m a huge fan of my favorite game: Plants vs. Zombies. And I’m currently building a map of the first game and I would like some feedback and help with it.

Here are two house prototypes I’ve built.

This is going to be the welcome sign at the entrance of town.

My goal is to make this map 100% accurate to the first game’s appearance. And i’ve tried making meshes for the map but i haven’t had any luck using Blender.

I’ve tried looking at videos of how to use it but i couldn’t make a mesh for grass. So i think i need help.


As you can see, in the first game, the grass is cartoony and i want to make grass meshes with the same art style.

If you are a good modeler in blender or know of any way i can make the grass as a mesh with the same look, please help.

These look grand, in the picture of the real PvZ (near the house) will you be adding detail like the house dose? ex: Bicycle, tree , doormat, etc.

Yes I will, but some of these things need to be modeled in blender and i need some help with that.

It’s been about 9 months sense I read this post, I can recommend you make a referance image or a 3D image and try to copy the style of it.

But again try to make it with some alter unless you have the persons permission to use it.
