The background of the city is a free model.
Made this in 20 minutes.
I would like to hear your feed back :D!
Looks great! The pose is a bit awkward but thats it.
Thanks! Means alot to me.
A bit of honest feed back for you.
I find the image a bit too bright in some of the parts which are white.
I also find that if you’re directing the character as the main focus on this then for him to be looking towards you as it would make him stand out more.
Other than that its perfect and I suggest keep going and keep trying until you’re the best.
Ty for the feedback! Ill work on the brightness
It looks great so far and I love the style.
Personally I’d try these 2 changes.
- Try to make the character stand out in the picture more, using lighting effects or photo editing softwares.
- Try to render the character with an r6 rig. Try bending the body parts, here’s an example
^ this render may not be the best for this because the body parts do in fact blend in with the devforum page, but that is only because the render is transparent.
Oh. I’ll try learning to bend body parts in blender. Thanks for the feedback.
what is happening in the scene, cant tell.
Oh. His getting prepared to go to school.
then add something to confirm he’s going to school like a schoolbus.
example:
besides that, the render quality is very bad. the character has no shadow or anything. its very bad textured and the lighting is also not too good
Oh Ok. Thanks im trying to learn bending parts in blender so it’ll be better.
It’s nice but it’s just a bit bright and at a strange angle. I think you just need to add more stuff to it and work on the lighting / poses
you dont need to learn how to bend your roblox character, that’s what a rig is for. all you need to do is learn some texturing (nodes), learn how to make propper light and composing
Thanks ill work hard to get better
Okay. Thanks for telling me.
The image is pretty good, however when I look at it I can see a few things that stick out to me, and could be easily improved.
Firstly I think you should change the brightness, some of the image is way too bright and hurts my eyes, whereas some of the image is just fine
Secondly, assuming you used blender for the image, I would try using a rig, they are quite easy to find, but could use some practice to get the posing perfect, however youtube would be able to help you with this, this would help the image look even better.
Thirdly, also assuming you used blender, I would use eevee instead of cycles for a render, it looks so much nicer and the lights are a lot better. (Oh and also a HDRI would help)
Hope this helps and good luck, feel free to pm me if you would like any more feedback in the future
Thanks for the info. I’ll try to reduce the brightness. And learn more about using a rig in blender.
Awesome man! Though I could imrpove some things like the brightning levels and the shadows, the overall GFX looks very good!
