Hello i am SelectedArctic a lot of people call me Arc for short and i am new to the DevForum and i have been building for 6-7 years and i find new creative ways to express myself in studio using my imagination. This is one of my many builds that i have made but this my most recent that i have created, i would love feedback and hopefully i can make it even better.
Looks awesome! I love how you made the ground detailed, otherwise it would look a little empty. My only suggestion would be that you could add some patricles into the build to make it more “sci-fi-ish”.
Looks awesome but tbh i’m not a fan of the colors you picked. The orange to be exact. You should change either the blue or the orange to make it stick to one theme more.
Welcome to the DevForum!
Like your Sci - Fi build, you really done a great job on it like all the details you added to it.
My Suggestions
1.I would suggest you added some of those. Wire ropes on the side of the building part and you could, also add one of those circle air vents on the side of the building part at the top like for example:
2.And you should add, some smoke particles in the air vent parts also on the second picture you uploaded i’ll open the parts a bit more so you. can see the colors in the corner and on the roof part more! and you should change the blue lines and add like a orange color in them!!

Over all you really done a great job on your build. Hope to see more of your work very soon keep up the good work!!
Don’t use dominant colors for neons. For example: the blue you used is not a bright color. This makes the neon feel dark. Try using a light blue color.
Your work is very impressive. Although I noticed that you make the same mistake so many sci-fi builders make the first few times. And that is you just make a basic corridor with a lot of duplication and repetition and consider it finished, but in a certain perspective, your build is only half-finished. So far the updates you made from V1 of your corridor to V3 is very good changes!
Detail:
First off, Sci-Fi is abstract. It is a very unique and abstract style and that is what makes it so interesting to look at! That’s why a simple repetition of one part to form a corridor just doesn’t suffice. So far you nailed the base of your build, now you need to throw some random detail in it! Add some pipes in random areas, throw in a control panel or 2, in random places add some disconnected wires, maybe some wires flowing along the floor or roof, make some parts of your build broken. Like make some areas rustier than others, some chipped off. Add debris over the floor. You can also enhance the atmosphere by adding some light smoke effect around the area with different colors. Maybe throw in some insects or bugs around. And make sure all this added detail is random. Don’t use repeat them too many times.
The Roof:
Once again, a common mistake I notice among more beginner sci-fi builders. They make an awesome corridor, walls, even a floor, but then just get lazy on the roof and throw in a few shapes and call it done. Add more to the roof, I’d not suggest adding more neon there as it may be too much. But maybe more complex shapes with random detail. And as I suggested before maybe throw in some flowing wires, some emergency alert lights. Maybe a fire alarm?
The Neon:
I feel the neon along the panels of the walls need something as they seem too flashy. Maybe add a backplate to the lights and inset them into the wall more?
Random scratches, imperfections, and bump
Right now these details are too time-consuming and far too destructive to your build to add. But keep in mind, ROBLOX will soon be adding in normal maps and when they do, I’d suggest seeing it as an opportunity to add stuff like scratches, insetted bumped and dents and some metal bump to your scene.
