Feedback On My Solar System Game

Hi! I am making a game where you can visit other moons, planets, dwarf planets, etc. by clicking on buttons. I plan on adding information on the side about the objects that have been clicked and also plan on adding more spacecraft and the ability to teleport to other star systems.

Feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated, but please note that the lighting might look bad and some textures messed up because I used Future lighting in the game and SurfaceAppearance for some objects and those are not fully implemented features on Roblox. (I’m also pretty trash at scripting)

Here are some screenshots (in Roblox Studio)

Screenshot is from an older version so the GUI is different

Here’s the link to the game, thanks for reading!

I love this idea!
When you finish are you going to get it in the Learn and Explore category on Roblox?

It’s missing a few things: descriptions of the planets and interactions with the players.

For interaction with the players you could have:

  • quiz games
  • matching games (place the planets in the correct order)
  • ability to enter the satellites (teleport inside)

The GUI could use some work but I know you said you’ve changed it.

Thank you, I like these ideas to make it more educational! The GUI in the game is not an older version, only in the screenshot posted, but I agree, I will work on the GUI in-game to make it more appealing.

This is cool! It kinda reminds me of SpaceEngine.

It would be nice if you were able to manipulate the camera a bit more, even just being able to rotate it around the planets would be cool. You could also add fact cards for each object like LandofLee1620 said
