Hello i built this wood building that ment to be steampunk but the gold wont fit in the color scheme it look very weird so i removed it any suggestion? im not really happy with the color im not sure what to do here any criticism would help!

Oh I forgot I would also add some water splashes where the waterfall comes out of the building
The building needs some more minor details as it looks bland, as SiberianCatKitten said splashes are needed here 
. Otherwise this is amazing work and i’m sure you will improve with every new building you make 
It looks a little too clean.
I would suggest changing the color of the metal to something like Linen or Brick Yellow or maybe even a Tr. Brown.
