I have been working on a survival game for some time now. My general idea is that it will be quite similar to rust and other games like that. The island is procedurally generated and right now features three different biomes that have some different structures on each. Due to the size of the island, I used the technique of chunking (like in minecraft) in order to dynamically generate the terrain and other structures around the player when it is needed. Some feedback on some of the game would be very valuable to me even though the game is still very bare bones and glitchy, I’m mainly looking for what you think of the terrain system and to see if you would play a game like this. I would recommend you open the game on pc if you have one, however, mobile also works fine.
Some pictures of the game:
On pictures, everything seems very cool. But I’m unable to play your demo version, because pressing “PLay DUSK” will just increase speed of daytime cycle, resulting with spam click in sun going with insane speeds.
Didn’t even realise it did that if you click it more than once, haha. I only intended for it to be clicked once, and for it to teleport you after a few seconds, but I can see why spamming it would be an issue with the sun spinning like crazy. Thanks for play testing it!
I played a bit and I think its fantastic, the environment gives a good vibe and its very realistic. It was a bit laggy but that’s probably just my computer.
Keep up the good work!
