So basically I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone and try to use the terrain tools from ROBLOX
(I don’t know why it took me this long to realize its fun to use it!!)
Anyway, I just wanted some feed back on my terrain and even the trees in the terrain I want all the
feedback you can give me even the lightning. The map is not done yet, I just wanted to know if I’m
going in the right direction. Also feel free to give suggestions on what I should add!
I want to improve even more!!
here’s the place:
And for those of you who don’t want to join the game here’s some screenshots for you
I know the mountains in the back look a little weird, like I said i’m not finished.

Its beautiful!
But,in my opinion,i think you should add a little bit of texture on your builds,or remake them,as they don’t fit together.

You used low-poly style on the terrain, what i meant was to add the materials, like wood for the wood, grass for the leaves, bricks for the walls, etc…

The house in the 3rd last screenshot do look like the style of the Smurf’s houses, pretty neat and kinda bring me back to the old days
Damn nostalgia really does tickle my back pretty hard

I recommend you to use low-poly for the terrain, because combining that terrain and low-poly things looks kinda weird, but it is actually good!

The water could use some more work, but the rest looks beautiful and natural! 9.9/10!

@fr6g Any suggestions on the water? I feel like the water has sharp edges around the sand, I want to make it look smooth. Do you know how to fix this??

In all of the pictures, it has a fantasy vibe to it. The tree shapes, the calm water, and the smokey-ish air. The large mushrooms growing next to a small house makes it feel like that the player is living inside of a fairy tale.
If I were to relate it to a different game, I would say the 2018 Egg Hunt. The trees and how the terrain interacts with the rest of the parts is just amazing.
Every single object that was inserted, even a small object, can contribute largely on how terrain is.
Great job, keep up the good work!

If you can erode the ground in the type of formation that would peak your interest, go for it. Use the regions tool to move your water, reshape it, and all of that stuff. Maybe if you’re uncomfortable with grass being so sharp, you should add some rocks since rocks have a rocky formations anyway. Once again, it still looks really great!
