!Wow! This does look like a three day project, because it is so detailed. The front of the train, however, seems to be floating, or maybe that’s just me. Nice build!
3D Modeled or built it with parts?
Looks like it was built with parts. Not bad
Yeah, I wasn’t really sure what to add there, but I think I know what to do with it. thank’s for pointing that out!
I built it from parts. Some meshes were used for the smoke stack.
Not sure why you’re deleting your posts, but while you’re here, are you looking for work?
Wow! Excellent detail
It reminds me of the Jaibreak train. Can you possibly make a low poly station to go with it?
I could, but the train is not for sale. I built it for a client. If you are interested in hiring me, you can DM me here, TMSGaming#5630 or message me on the Dev Forum.
Here are some of my thoughts:
Hoe these helped!
The client wants the windows to be like that. The rest of the ideas are awesome, thanks!
No, I wasn’t expecting to buy it!
I was suggesting if you could
Could always build another,
Very Nice! My main suggestions for this are just some simple additions.
Colors - Everything is a darker gray, I recommend maybe some maroon coloring underneath the windows, and possibly making the windows neon to create the illusion of light
Engine - The train actually looks really good! The only suggestions I have for this part is possibly creating a bit that curves up underneath the cylinder, and maybe adding some sort of support beam?
Caboose - Come on, every good steam engine has to have a nice red caboose right? I realize this may be a bit harder, but would add some nice detail to the train.
Nice build, it’s really great! Happy building!
Thanks for the feedback!
No problemo! I love to help others out, Cheers!
Positives
There are no major faults in the build. It’s very detailed and I would definitely hire you as a builder. Keep up the great work. I can really see the effort which was put in to this build, that’s what I appreciate.
It looks really nice! Also here are my suggestions,
Make the rear car have some sort of exposed end like this
(This picture is from some sort of polar express train set)
Then add a few negate parts through the larger driving wheels to give them more depth.
Give something the axles to connect to so they don’t just float around, a block will work just fine.
This last suggestion is probably the most difficult, and that is to export the train into blender and to reduce the amount of triangles and vertices.
