Feedback on my Typing Game

Hello all. Looking for feedback on my game.

First, let me start off with my initial concerns about the game at its state.

  1. Typing games are very niche.
  2. May not be engaging.

Here’s what I think it’s strengths are:

  1. Unique concept in a niche thats proven to be somewhat successful (Hazems Type Race, Untitled Typing, etc…)
  2. Decent amount of content

This typing game is based on ZType, basically, there are monsters coming towards your core that you can destroy by typing the words shown above them.

You earn coins for killing monsters, and as the game progresses the game gets harder along with new levels and worlds each with different themes.

This game is almost like a “community” effort type game in that there will be newer, harder levels being added and it’s up to the players to work together in a joint effort to unlock and discover said stage.

You are also able to pick “Perks,” which work similarly to deepwoken that give small buffs.
You are able to buy custom orbs that can come in many varities from crates.
you are also able to buy Custom Idle Animations for when you activate your typing.

Overall I’m in a love hate relationship, I just keep getting a sense of doubt in the whole project itself, but I also feel like it could be successful.

Dude I feel the same way about one of my games I’ve spent hundreds of hours on. I think the game honestly looks like a pretty interesting concept. For me the deciding factor if a “niche” game is good all comes down to how much content it has. Of course you could say that about any game but I feel like it’s more important with fan games or less popular topics. For example someone could play some content deprived fps game for a while simply because people (and me :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) love fps games.
