What are your thoughts on this game I’m making? The concept is pretty self-explanatory (catch the noob every round, gameplay differs depending on the gamemode) and I think I’m almost done with the game. I think I’m almost ready for release (a day or two), but I’d like some more suggestions just to make sure the game is fun to play.
Its decent game, its like speed run. However, the game can get annoying/infuriating after you miss a couple of your jumps, so don’t expect a good likes/dislike ratio.
The Speedrun map is one map out of 7; some of the other maps are other obbies while others are more open maps. I’ll look into making the speed run map easier though.
I couldn’t play because there were no other players.
Lobby is good, could use some more work because it’s small and somewhat plain… the volleyball net is too high and looks a little out of place and the pebble shack looks unpleasing visually.
Also, atop the waterfall the grass is colliding.
For some reason there are people on the leaderboard with 0 wins.
The builds are really nice. I also like the graphics of the game. The maps are really unique, especially the underwater map.
Suggestions: One, maybe you could make the noobs actually move and walk around, instead of them just standing there, because it would make it more realistic and fun. Second, in some maps (especially Candy Land), I didn’t know which way to go, so you could create a camera at the beginning that sort of guides the user. Last, you should change the image of the doge in the starter pack to something different, as that would be more on topic and attractive. Overall, the game is pretty decent.
