Feedback on Neighborhood

I just recently finished creating a lil’ neighborhood for an upcoming project, and I wanted to know if I could have some feedback on it (ex; what to add, change, etc,.)

(P.S. I am already working on some cars to make the street less bare!) :- )

Sorry if the images don’t do much justice! I really enjoyed working on this project though! The only pain was organizing the workspace afterwards, LOL.

It looks very nice! I wouldn’t change anything. Keep up the great work !

Its degree is 10/10. Why?

  1. Very detailed.

  2. Looks friendly.

  3. Those wood pillars are looking very natural, the wires on them are arranged ideally.

  4. I’ve never seen something like that,it has something that somehow makes my heart jump of happiness.

Everything looks good from the houses to the fences to the trees. Maybe backyards for some of the houses would be cool. Add signs.

It’s quite cute. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong about it at all. Nice!

I like how you used interesting shapes for the houses, it gives a cartoony feel! This is really good, I wouldn’t change anything.

You did an amazing job with this neighborhood, although I do have some suggestions!

I noticed that some of the trees had this unnatural and quite odd leaf color, as shown above. And although I just adore your attention to detail, I also noticed an odd shadow in the middle of the sidewalk . To add to that, on the edge of a handful of the houses, there are these bushes that honestly just seem really out of place. I also noticed that some of the trees where unnaturally tall, so for those I recommend making either the trunk a bit thicker, or just making the tree overall shorter.
Other than that, great job, and keep up the great work! :tophat:

Power lines shouldn’t be on both sides of the street, it will look odd that way because you’ll almost never see that in real life. I know it’s just because you reused the same set of poles and copy pasted it, but you should try to create a model that you can tile along the same side of the street.

Pretty neat neighborhood! But road isn’t something what fit this city, Maybe change stripes on road to white one? Also add crossing!

Oh yeah! I have a small variety of greens from light to dark just to keep the grass, other tree colors from clashing too much!

Oh geez, if you’re talking about the random block, that’s actually my mistake LOL it’s a spawn block i forgot to move for the photos! The lines in between are just to give the sidewalk a little more detail too :- )

I do see what you mean, most of the ‘larger’ bushes are placed on the sides of the map (where the houses end) I didn’t do a really good job on capturing an image of the sides LOL… They’re mostly there just to fill in empty space, they’ll likely be removed eventually with future updates!

Thank you for the suggestions though, I’m about to make a few test-changes to see how it looks!

Hmm, I might make it less-uniform by tilting some a little bit, thank you!

Wow, 10/10. It looks like a very friendly environment to be in and it just looks so calm there. The only thing I see that needs to be added is maybe a blue trash can infront of each house to make it more realistic. Other than that I love it, great job!

The roads look a little off do not really match the road you typically see in a neighborhood in my opinion, but you did a pretty good job other than that

Looks amazing, what you should do is hide the edge of the map a little bit with trees or a mountain.

The neighborhood looks great, but I do have a suggestion. You should make the houses look more lived in. Add things like a bike, toys scattered on the lawn, a garden, a tire swing, a soccer ball, etc. The houses should give you some insight of who lives in the houses.

It’s really good, the only thing I noticed is that theres too many power lines, I’d suggest getting rid of some, it’s weird seeing them so close together.

Thank you!
Also, I appreciate your suggestions but that wouldn’t be fitting to add all that stuff for an upcoming game (having really unnecessary assets) & that would be a lot of stuff added into those small lawn! The houses aren’t really suppose to “looked lived in”.
If this were a showcase I could totally see where you’d be coming from, however, it’s not! Again though, still appreciate these suggestions!

Try to mess around more with the color scheme for the scenery. Otherwise, you did an amazing job. The low-poly theme is very appealing!

Wowzers! You did a spectacular job, however, you do need to fix a few things within your Neighborhood such as adding a mountain range or density in the background instead of the map just cutting off and ending a few studs away from a house.

In this image there is a tree on the edge of the map, I would remove it.

Besides that you did a wonderful job! Bravo and keep us all updated on what happens with your build.

7/10, the neighborhood is not bad but I recommend you to add few details to increase the graphics and reality of this creation. In my opinion that’s a good creation. Keep doing your good job.
