Feedback on new tycoon

I recently made and released a new game, called Classic Stud Tycoon. This is my first real try on a cash-grabby tycoon game.
I would like feedback on the gameplay time, pricing of game passes and developer products, and UI.
I would also love if you could find bugs and report it trough the feedback menu or here!
Also use code “GAME-RELEASE99” in the codes menu!

Super great game! Love the attention to detail and fun features. The only issue I have is that the UI on the left is a bit too big.

I’ll look into that, its mostly made like that for mobile. I do realize now that its really big.

List of feedback:

  • Don’t use AI-generated thumbnail
  • UI is really big (already noted)
  • Controller/Gamepad can’t interact with most buttons. Use .Activated in your code, not .MouseButton1Down or whatnot. That way all input types can interact with the button.
  • No Sound Effect or Music Toggle in settings
  • Price of gamepasses look good. I don’t see any bugs.
  • The car is way too fast starting out to drive well
  • The Light Sword has a Q and E ability but no UI shows it
  • It took me about an hour and 30 min to complete the tycoon.

I updated the game a bit and made it better since the last post!

Gonna throw every critique I can muster:

  • Not as on theme as expected. I think you should commit to the idea and make the game appear more “study” and classic.
  • Roblox doesn’t necessarily display the first thumbnail in your carousel to everyone, different thumbnails are displayed to different people. So when an AI thumbnail is buried in the carousel, it risks having it appear as the actual main thumbnail and deterring users. I’d remove it (also doesn’t match how the game looks anyway!)
  • No mobile shiftlock :frowning:
  • Main UI (leftmost items) is quite big on
    mobile. Not a huge issue but I’d scale it a bit down.
  • UI menus stack. If I press shop, then press rebirth, they’ll overlap.
  • Feedback textbox a bit small. Users writing feedback will be on the screen for a good while, so don’t feel afraid to make the menu bigger.
  • Music volume slider is almost impossible to use on mobile— it’s too tiny.
  • Light sword attacks I assume have a cooldown, but it’s not communicated. Consider a visible cooldown, or visual/audible feedback (buzz sound when using ability on cooldown)
  • Unequipping sword during the circle summoning ability causes the character to stay frozen. (Until sword is re-equipped.)
  • When in a car while using a controller, the UI seems to expand massively and skew controls.
  • No light sword abilities on controller.
  • Icons seemingly incorrect and inconsistent on top-bar buttons (Codes and Feedback) when using controller. Displayed as B button and occasionally D-Pad up, both do nothing.
  • More of a personal preference as it’s not a huge deal, but on mobile, the game can be played in portrait mode. Would be nice if it was locked ti landscape so it doesn’t switch back and forth when moving positions IRL.

Long list, but that’s all. Game took around an hour and 15 for me. Products priced reasonably. Love the cat petting section and living room area in the tycoon, makes the game have more personality.

Another Suggestion:
PvP Setting - Turn Off PvP to Prevent Death, but This will also make Yourself unable to Attack Players (or Others to Attack You).
