Good morning/afternoon/evening/night fellow devforumers!
After a lot of work, I think I finally managed to create a pretty decent ore generation system, and I want your guys’ opinion on this!
Join the game, complete the (unfinished) tutorial then try mining. All feedback is appreciated.
Most of the game is already completed, so you can test out the daily rewards, the level up systems and much much more! (for now you get pickaxes and plr effects every 5 levels, what I’m planning to do is redesign that and make pickaxes of different rarities that you can obtain by opening different crates.)
If you don’t feel like replying here, we also have an in-game Feedback system that you can use to offer feedback as well.
For the most part, the generator works well (reminds me a lot of Mining Simulator and Treasure Hunt Simulator though). The part of the game I enjoyed the most was that the music wasn’t a typical simulator-style happy marimba.
Of course, there are still quite a few bugs* to be worked out, mainly:
Ore regeneration can sometimes generate twice, leaving blocks inside each other.
Blocks don’t generate around chests despite the fact that they don’t take up a full cube space, meaning you can see through the ground when you find one.
This isn’t as much of a bug, but the robux shop is called the “crate shop”, which was a bit misleading to me.
*We did talk about most of these in-game, but I’m just putting them here so that they’re easier to find and the other posters know that we’ve already acknowledged them.
