Feedback on proofs of concepts

I made 2 little showcases for some proofs of concepts I’ve been wanting to develop for a while.
Both would be small, free games with little to no paid content.
I wanna turn these into actual games someday maybe with the player in mind, instead of the money earned from it.

This game would be quite a simple RPG with a simplistic build style filled with various enemies.
Now of course this has been seen on Roblox hundreds of times, so to give myself a bit of a challenge and to make the game more interesting for the player, I wanted to make every single enemy unique, as seen in the attached image.

Players would make and gather materials dropped by these mobs to make various new armor sets and weapons that are equally as unique.
The world would be filled with main and secret areas that can unlock their own swords or maybe skills if that is possible with my lackluster coding skills.

Definitely a big project for what I’m used to, but I feel like it would be both fun to develop and fun to play.

–==Potion Shop==–

This game is quite simple. You collect herbs, mushrooms, gemstones, etc. and use these to create fun and powerful potions by grinding, drying, burning, etc. these ingredients. I’m still on the fence about 2 options for this game:

  1. A shop game where the player sells these potions for some profit or to special customers who will offer more. This option could make it a deeper mechanic and gives me options for tons of ways to expand this initial idea. Or;
  2. Make it a smaller mechanic in an RPG game for example, where the player can sell these potions to other players, effectively creating a market for these items. This option would make the mechanic a bit more shallow, but would be fun for players who are looking for an economy-based RPG.

Please give me your opinions on the assets in these concepts and on the concepts itself, and dont sugarcoat it :slight_smile:

Really like it, I like the idea of marketing between players

The whole market idea could easily be expanded to other mechanics like weapon/armor smithing who sell their respective specialties or adventurers who sell loot.

Good idea! :smiley:
