I have made this reactor core but something just seems missing.
Any help?

iā€™d recommend you use or make your own sounds instead of using someone elses work, other than that, looks very good

I mean the sounds are open-source and I have only been working on it for about 5 hours in total so everything is still a a placeholder.

You could add particle effects and build a background since the pure black feels very odd

I have no idea what to put in the background, any suggestions?

Maybe you could start by making it look like its in a spherical room with all the laser things coming out from the walls, then if that looks decent start adding a bit more detail from there?

The original one was in a spherical room but no matter how hard I tried it looked horrible so i made it full black then created a new room
