Feedback on realism/terrain?

What do you think of this picture I got in studio?

Obviously the terrain is not finished, but what do you think of the shading/realism of it?

It looks perfect. I don’t spot anything wrong but some better builders than I am will find something to give feedback on. What did you use for the lighting?

Looks perfect with the lighting and shading! Nailed it. Did you use Shadowmap for the lighting?

Looking realistic so far, and nothing is needed to be improved. Well done!

It worked like a charm brother!

Dude, when I am in studios the lighting is perfect, but

when I test the game.

The lighting and the realistic environment, and the terrain looks amazing for a good start.

As for realism, i think it looks pretty nice maybe experiment with different effects like sun rays, etc. And to look to work with adding particle effects to your terrain this would really bring your scene together as well, you could try doing some effect tests, to see which one adds a little bit of additional realism. Maybe you could add some particles in the water like smoke, something like that could work as well.

Your terrain looks flat i’ll create elevation on the terrain, right now it looks rather flat and plain. As well it would be better if you add minor vegetation objects around the terrain and water, such as plants, trees, rocks, leaves, branches, and more if it’s needed. The water that would add a little realistic environment to the whole scene or even some hills instead of the terrain being all flat.

@Yusef444_MegaFan This isn’t relevant to the topic i’ll try removing those just. To avoid clutter and whatnot on a thread.

Looks good, needs some rocks, and trees in my opinion. Also, bridges typically have railings.

I felt like it was a valid question to ask but you can be that way! I don’t mind.

Im not sure why it is doing that sorry! Have you changed the lighting from Voxel to ShadowMap?
When I test in my game, it works fine!

I will try again! 3 0 c h a r s

I love it! The grass looks very natural and the tree looks realistic!

The bridge should have taller borders, and the exposure is making the sky look a little too loud imo. Still looks good and can pass as realism but I’d suggest getting a skybox that fits the high exposure better, or lowering down the exposure and using other properties to get a similar effect without brightening up the sky as much.

Also the terrain could use a little bit more character. It doesn’t need mountains, but a low strength terrain brush adding short hills and imperfections around the map does wonders.

This looks pretty cool, this looks nice!
