Hello! Here is a quick little build of a retro cafe in low poly. All feedback is highly appreciated
I really like this build, and alot of work and detail had went into it. However I feel like there is just too much of the ‘checkered’ design in the kitchen. Overall, really good build. Did you use a reference photo?
The “checkered” design is what was used allot in the retro cafes back then, so I think he’s spot on with the design.
Very clean design, well proportioned, great color scheme. References possible Google search, “retro cafe” imagery material online for this period: https://tinyurl.com/yynbtsos. Looks like a lot of checkerboard because there is a need for the rest of the restaurant “stuff:” memorabilia on the walls, shelves full of dishware, piles of napkins and menus, etc. I would swap out the second sink area for a pass through window to the kitchen. Need more counter space to make milkshakes!
I do like that bold, vibrant colour usage and a nice checker pattern to really show what part of the building it is, nice job
Simple and clean , love it ! Good work dude .
Yes, I used a reference, here it is:
Looks fantastic! Simple yet complex at the same time.
