Heres the gui:
It looks very good!! It’s awesome!!
Really? Thanks, but I think it doesnt look that good to me.
Maybe you could add specific spaces for different types of tools.
I think the main thing that is putting it off is the use of BorderSizePixel and the overall color scheme. The layout is not bad, but try playing with the fonts/colors/uicorner/padding until you get something you like.
Gokd work though!
This looks very good. It’s simple and easy to work with. I only see a few things that can be improved.
The item slots in the store, in this case the torch slot in the scrolling frame, should be moved to the right a little more, they’re too close to the edge, and maybe move them down too.
The purchase button blends in too well, make it green if the player can purchase it, and red if they can’t.
Once again, this is great, keep it up!
I tried doing that earlier, I use UIGridLayout and I couldn’t do it.
When you purchase it says “Success”, if you already own it or you dont have enough money it says “Error”.
I think it shouldn’t say “Success” and “Error” depending on if you own it or don’t have enough money to purchase it. It should instead say “Already Owned” and “Not Enough”.
You should also do the colors still. The player doesn’t want to read to find out if they have enough or already have it. Color coding it as well will make it much more convenient for the player.
Thanks, I have done your first idea. About the 2nd one… When trying to buy an item it will change colors or ??
When the player selects an item, have the purchase button’s color change based upon if player can purchase it, cannot purchase it, and already has it. Here are some suggestions for the colors:
If the player can buy it, make it green.
If the player can’t buy it, make it red.
If the player has it already, make it light gray.
Alr, I will do that rn, also do you know how to make the torch image not near the edge? im using a gridlayout
I used uipadding nvm its ok
very nice i like the colours! Its just the outline that doesnt really match the yellowish colour
What should I change it to? I’ve used that outline and the color for all my guis in that game,
Idk something just a little bit darker than the pastel yellow youve used, not too dark but not too light so that its just noticeable
I like it but maybe use roundify plugin and make grids and when the mouse hovers over the purchase button it changes to a lighter shade of the beige and the size of the button increases and when the hovering ends it decreases again. also if they dont have enough the purchase button can say not enough and if owned then it says owned. Just throwing some suggestions but overall I think its really good, great job!
Thanks, about the “Not enough” and “Owned”, that alraedy happens.
Personally, I would make the color grey and partly transparent, but otherwise, it is much better than anything I could do!
That’s Looks Good, I Like the torch, that in the shop GUI and more!
But yeah, Thank you for reading this. have a nice day!
