Feedback on simulator map

I’m working on a simulator game and I’ve started for like 2 days building the main lobby. I didn’t really spend a lot of time on this, but I’m really bad at building, so I would like some feedback on my main spawn so far

  • The water fountain was blatantly stolen from toolbox but I’m planning to model one myself
  • that blank space over there is for portals to next work didn’t do it yet
  • the game is about water so you sell water thats why theres a water tank
  • yep

Any feedback will be appreciated. note that this spawn is like only 70% done

i would recommend to add more variety of terrain that acts like a border, maybe some slighty color variations and some grass/trees above.

also, a thing i always loved, is to add useless interactive stuff in the map, like animals or grass.

another tip, but this is about game design, is to make the fountain rain, so that people could collect water with that

thanks for your suggestion! I’ll see if i can add the stuff you said, i think fountain is really good idea

Add some rocks, trees on the border and a pond. Something to give it more of an alive look as it is a tad bit small right now, which is fine, but when I play simulator games (Depending on type) I like to be in a little area hidden away haha. Looks like the main area can be that box in the background so who knows.

Other than that it looks good! You can also split the shop if you want to make more of a variety / filler .

Shop holds → Tools, Upgrades, E.t.c (Now)
Another Shop (Green?) holds Upgrades. (Split)
This way you have two separate shops with two different categories. If that makes sense.
