Recently I noticed the huge breakout of a game “Arise Crossover” as many of you probably have. I’ve never been good with VFX or UI at all, so I wanted to spend 3 days trying to replicate a game similar to Arise Crossover since it has very good UI design and VFX. Of course the game doesn’t really have much gameplay, but thats not what im worried about. Initially it was supposed to take 3 days, but I got pretty bored after day 1, so I didn’t work on it much and it ended up taking an extra day. You can try it here:
I’m mainly looking for feedback on the UI Design, as I didn’t put too much into flashy VFX yet.
There is a bug on the side buttons’ light rays when hovering. I know the cause is from the MouseLeave being called after the MouseEnter (for some reason roblox has it like that) but I don’t know how to fix it, if anyone knows how I’d appreciate help
The assets are a mix of Toolbox, AI, and my own.
Currently there is a level up system, clans, a test shop, an inventory, combat and an rng roll.
After going through developing this, I think got a decent result in not much time at all. You can see my first post about this here, it came a long way haha
How can I make the UI look and feel better? Any bugs found?
I also don’t know if I should pursue this at all. I know I can’t make professional level UI or VFX, but this prototype has most of the core systems and barely took me any time. I estimate it would take 4-5 weeks to pump out a full polished game with enough content. Would it be worth to spend 4-5 weeks on finishing this?
There is only two jutsu’s, and the punch storm scales a ton so you can level up quickly if youd like. Clan spins are free. E, P, and C can be used to open the inventory, shop, and clan screen respectively.
