Feedback on Simulator

Hey everyone,

I “recently” made this game, and spent about 50K robux on advertising. It has a good like to dislike ratio, but I barely made any money back and player retention seems to be awful. What can I do to improve this?

:zap:Pet Clicker Legends:zap: - Roblox

Thanks in advance

Hello! I have not played your game, but I noticed a few things right off the bat. First, it looks like every other sim! Try to add something unique, like candy worlds where you can get gummy bear pets. Because, with only one picture for your game, it does not really entice. Second, you don’t have it in a group. That may not be a big problem, but I think having a group allows people to be able to talk about your game and you can see what needs to happen. Lastly, I think the description is base and you set your update at 100 likes to high to start bc until you hit 100 likes, nobody will return for there are no updates. That is what makes people come back. Also, add something limited time for the first 1,000 people or something. To sum it up, I just think you need to add some uniqueness. I hope this will help you, have a good rest of your day and I can’t wait to see your game headed for the best!

I’m sorry to sound negative but the game plot is really unoriginal. Your game wont stand out unless you come up with something that is really unique to any other clicker game

The game looks quite nice and it has no obvious shortcomings.

I guess it is a genre that is already occupied by a bunch of other games. With that in mind, maybe you are setting the bar too high in some areas. Waiting 30 mins for a reward and doing a lot of clicks to unlock progress may be too much to ask.

You could try making it more exponential in the sense that progress is quick to begin with. Then slower.

Other than that, I get zero players for every game I made, so I am not a great person to give advice. :grinning: Perhaps marketing on social media is a requirement to get a player base - it’s a guess.

Personally I dislike simulator games (especially clickers without unique plots), so this review would probably be a bit harsh.

your “loading” screen never fully loaded and dissapeared before the map (and other stuff) actually loaded

A few issues in this image:

  1. what number is 1,00? (im pretty sure thats 1,000, but it shows as 1,00)
  2. that arrow is absolutely tryna gimme a stroke, why is it moving so fast
  3. that UI is fine, but its so round that it feels sharp

Now this isn’t showable in any images, but the cat is laggy, like, really laggy. I do understand I have bad wifi (150 ping in a simulator game with graphics quality 1), but still, its like freezing whenever it turns

Why does the UI pop up before I get into the circle lol, its not exactly an issue, but it confused me for a second

NOOO YOU CUT OFF ITS EARS

why? why would I ever want to pay 18 robux for a color to follow me???

bro go away arrow I already bought the darn thing

I got a “puppy”, but the UI doesn’t update until I step out and back in, even though the big ol egg thing covers the UI anyways. Reload the UI when the egg thing shows up, PLEASE

bru why does it look like you got that button from google XD

Why can I open the egg UI while the egg is still openning???

Oh dont I love to trade with myself

Big empty UI moment

is the early games really just openning the exact same egg 500 times hoping you get a better pet?

damn you got a player, lucky!

Bro what, I didn’t even click anything except the click button, and you prompt me a gamepass???

So you wont even gimme a “are you sure” prompt…

I really dont feel the want to continue playing, the game feels extremely underwhelming with pretty much no content, and the gap between the start and the first "island’ (or whatever its called), is WAY too large, i dont think anyone would be thrilled to spend 20 minutes clicking a button just to unlock a place but its pink now.
