So I decided to build something “realistic” for my game. Y’know, no smooth plastic and cartoony builds. Realism isn’t exactly my strong suit, and building as a skill isn’t my strong suit either. But I decided to go for it anyway, and I tried my best, now I’d like some feedback on it.
Anyways, I made a sniper tower for my sniping game. Can’t have a sniper game without towers, right? Here is my build.
Now that I think about it, I think it isn’t so realistic because it’s too basic. I’m looking at pictures of sniper towers as I’m writing this reply, and I’m matching details with the images. I’ll edit my topic with the updated tower when I’m done.
You could add metal beams between the four pillars at the bottom. You could add better structural design and make the tower taller. You could add metal railings etc… it just doesn’t look realistic. Try different colors
Alright, I made a hopefully better, more realistic version. Darker colors (although you probably won’t be able to see it), Railing, or whatever they’re called, and some X’s between pillars holding up the tower.
I’m trying to go for a sleek and decently realistic look for my sniping tower. I’ve updated the lighting a bit, added a stripe, and some bars on the bottom.
