Here are some GFXs I made a while ago for my friends, and I know lots can be improved on, and I want to see what other people think could also be improved.

Thank you for feedback!
I can genuinely see MASSIVE improvements from the first one to the last one, spectacular improvement!
Thank you for the compliment! I appreciate it
In The third one, the money bags go through the players arm
These are super good, nice work
Nice! Improvements can be created such as faces and more lighting, which looks like the backgrounds were… imported.
Thanks for your thoughts! Yeah, I just found models in studio because I was too lazy to create my own at the time (the third one I made, but it still consisted of free models and was a bit empty). Next time I’ll just make my own scenery.
It was a bit difficult to get the arm right, I should’ve made the money bag smaller or something. Thank you for your reply!
These look great! The only thing i don’t really like is how they kinda look like they’re from toy story 1. Something about the lighting feels off. I’m not sure what, though, i haven’t gotten too far into making GFXes.
The lighting may be too saturated on some, and I don’t quite know what you mean by Toy Story 1. Is it the positions the characters are in?
That probably is it. I’m not sure what I mean by toy story 1 i just feel kind of a coloring and lighting vibe ig???
Ah ok, it may also be because there aren’t many textures. Thank you for your feedback!
That would make sense. These are really great and I’m sure they’ll get better and better.
I see the improvement, nice work!
I liked the lighting used in the 2nd GFX and the scenes in the last few. I’d recommend using more variety of lighting other than a pink or a monochromatic tint as your entire lighting, I’ve seen those in other “aesthetic” GFXs (you might have been going for that style).
This is just my thought from over my time as a GFX artist, but using more lighting drastically improves the quality of your GFX. You can see the lighting well in your 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th unlike your 8th and 9th GFX.
You’re learning well, and you have potential, so keep it up!
Thanks for your feedback! I’ll try to make the lighting better in the future. Also, the last GFX was supposed to be kind of dark, but there is still some lighting.
It’s nice to see people’s progress and improvement, and it shows that you’ve learnt and got better over time!
I think you could try to dabble into editing materials. Assuming you use blender, try to learn using material nodes so you can start try experimenting with material gloss, displacements to give a more 3d look on the environment and texturing.
If you’re not using blender, then this still kind of applies but material nodes probably doesn’t exist in other 3d software.
On your latest picture, which I assume is the top one, try to take account where the lighting is coming from, like a light from the window It’ll give the extra detail that might help with the scene so it doesn’t look like a one light source is projecting everything. Though, I presume in this case the door next room is whats emitting the place.
This applies to your earlier works too, e.g. the lamp not emitting anything on your sixth and seventh picture.
Other wise, I love the environment setting. It feels very warm & cozy. ^^
Edit: I forgot to mention about the black color on the tree. Here’s a quick picture tutorial for you to follow so you can add the transparency.
Adding transparency from black color texture
Step 3 is only necessary if you use Eevee instad of Cycles.
Good luck with your future GFX projects, hope to see more stuff from you!
Thank you so much for the tips, I’ll use them in the future! I did try to make the lamp and the bike light have some light coming out of it, but I didn’t do a good job. Also, from top to bottom is the oldest to the newest.
Superb!! I love your creativity… you just gotta improve lighting in your GFX’s. There are a lot of YT videos about Blender lighting… maybe watch them and improve your next GFX’s!
Can’t wait to see your upcoming artworks
- Your friend
Hey, so nice to see you here! I’ll be looking to improve my lighting, thanks!
Emissions material & lights are your friend if you need to use more lighting. ^^
Alright, I’ll keep that in mind!
