Since I’m kind of bored, I have made 2 of these GFXs for the last 2-3 days, maybe just an excuse of me play around textures, modifiers, and shaders. Sadly I can’t make these to the fullest due to the fact that my laptop is a toaster, but at least I learn some stuff such as texture overlapping, mist and some shader tricks.
Both GFXs doesn’t have a specific theme (like the rest of my GFXs, I tend to go abstract more), so if you don’t know what’s going on in those images, me too.
The scenery itself is quite interesting to look at. I’d say really work on putting some lighting into the scene (or adding more), the scene itself lacks depth because it feels as if the lighting across the image does not vary. This lack of variety in the lighting unfortunately makes the GFX feel really flat. Once you add some more lighting I’m sure that it would look 10x as good.
Thanks for the feedback! Currently, I am new to setting up the lighting (basically importing an HDRI and counts as a day), so those GFX might be a bit bland. But, I will eventually learn more about lighting and its appropriate position by using some tutorials I found online.
