Hello! I have recently started making a cafe for my friend. I would like some feedback on how it looks so far. (This is one of my first builds so don’t expect to be impressed)
Looks great
Not bad, but I don’t recommend making an entire place a huge window. I would consider adding walls at some point as it kind of looks weird being all windows. Other than that, interested to see how it turns out.
Alright! I’ll try to add a wall in the back of the building.
It’s a good start, however, I feel like the color scheme is off I wouldn’t make the whole entire one color try experimenting into adding materials as well you could consider. Adding different shades of Blue or White, that helps to expand the use of different colors to match. I’d also recommend that you should add textures on the walls outside of the cafe as it looks really plain. I believe that you should also change the color scheme you’ve chosen as it looks rather plain if you know what I’m saying.
The building itself seems very flat. I would definitely add some more drastic height differences would help with this? An AC unit or vents on top and some wall pipes in the interior walls like what you normally see in a few cafes something like that could help that lead to vents inside might also help with the aesthetic that’s if you’re going to those types of cafes.
Overall it’s coming together hope to see the final results.
Thank you for the feedback! I will try to make it less bland and have different color variations. I might try to also model some AC units for the top of the building.
It’s nice now, however I’d recommend adding a texture to the floor, as the regular wood texture isn’t that nice looking.
Also, I would not recommend adding this many windows. I would recommend changing some of the parts’ reflectance (if you’re going for more of a modern feel)
If you’re going for more of a modern cafe, i’d also recommend changing some of the interior colours, as they are quite plain.
Question
- Are you going for more of a modern look?
It looks good so far! I think that with the fan/lights you should make them smaller and add more blades, what would help make them look more realistic would be to rotate them with the increment 0.1, I also recommend changing the floors to a white plastic underneath and making wooden flooring tiles by hand. With the counters I think you should make them wooden and have a marble countertop!
I believe the large windows make it look a little too open, maybe make the have smaller windows and near the entrance making the windows cut off. I think it would be better to have a smaller entrance way leading into the big main room. Good luck with the build!
Thanks for the feedback!
No, I’m not really going for a modern look this is just a build for my friend because he is making a group that needs a build. I will have a updated photo soon as well.
Alright, I will still recommend adding some more textures / colours. Other than that, it looks pretty nice.
(A good texture pack I use can be found on the toolbox if you just type ‘textures’, it should be the first one)
That’s a pretty nice start to a cafe however when it’s complete I’d add textures to the flooring to make enhance the look. I’d also recommend that you should keep the size of the cafe realistic according to the roblox avatar. Overall it’s a good start and keep up the good work.
It’s pretty box-like. Try going for maybe a second floor, and some portions of the cafe that come out to make it feel more alive than just a square. The windows are a bit excessive in my opinion. I would also recommend trying squaring off different sections of the floor to do different colors or textures. The floor is pretty bland. I would just go for normal white windows as well. The blue windows kind of makes the blue theme overwhelming.
I agree with whoever said it was a huge window. Try to reduce the windows, add a door, improve the counter add decor etc. I’d also suggest adding a second floor with way less windows and a balcony.
I like the idea but there are too many windows, I know you are going for a modern style but the counter attached to a window and other decorations would look weird, try placing some normal walls in the back.
Yeah, I was about to say the same thing
