I limited the pictures to a select amount of places due to this build being for a large group and want to keep screenshots to a minimum to make sure that if this is leaked, not all of it is.
Things that I have noticed:
Strong Lighting (Bright) Too much repetitive wood color

Hope you like my building & modeling.
I would swap all the plants and vegetation to SurfaceApearance, Just copy the texture into a surface appearance’s color section then set the mode to transparent, After that make the objects transparency 0 and It will render much more realistically, Even better use the leaves from Roblox’s Tree pack as plants because they are designed for SA. It just generally looks less buggy because of zfighting issues with transparency.
Edit: I would also (in preparation) include material service so when it launches your prepared with a good set of custom materials.
too bright, repetitive, and it does not give me a supermarket vibe at all, like just more like cafe or stuff like that with all these chairs and just design
I recommend you just remove some of the windows and it would look much more like a Walmart. Usually stores aren’t that open and keep some sort of closed area.
Don’t get me wrong, this is REALLY well-built. It has lots of details and symmetry, and I like its general lighting. You definitely went out on that and I commend you for it.
But this doesn’t scream supermarket to me at all. Even after looking at your pictures, I couldn’t tell that it was one. I think you made it a tad too fancy and advanced and are forgetting some fundamentals of supermarkets. I’m not saying that it should look like a generic Walmart, but even the nicest supermarkets I’ve gone to don’t look like this.
This actually came off to me more as a mansion or a cafe, and the images just reassured me of that. I think some designs that you have in here would actually be hurtful if placed into a real supermarket. I’m not saying it has to be super-realistic, but I think following their general guidelines and structure would make it more believable.
For example, it seems like your supermarket seems to be surrounded by large windows that bring in natural light. But I feel like this would be hurtful for a frozen foods section, for example. It doesn’t make sense to have constant sunlight on an area that you want to maintain as cold as possible.
I think the foundation you have here is great, I just don’t think it comes out like a supermarket at all. I feel like this build would shine more if it was refurbished to, say, a cafe.
I have read through everyone’s current replies.
Thanks for the feedback!
I honestly do feel that it doesn’t look like a supermarket, however, this is the style asked for by the client.
So apologies on that part. However, I do see some feedback that could be very helpful.
I have seen over this course that there is too many windows. Which as well, I definitely agree with, but again, they asked for it the many windows design. I would definitely fill it in with some different stuff, but hey, can’t really change the request.
All in all, thanks for the feedback. I will be sure to use some of it in the coming days.
I think overall its pretty well built. But I do agree with every other post in that it doesn’t scream “supermarket”. Though this is a really easy fix. Just add more supermarket-y things to the interior. Display shelfs, counters, freezers, etc. Small details that scream “I’m a supermarket” is really all you need. The exterior looks great its just the interior lacks all of the qualities of a supermarket.
Exteriors don’t all look the same so I can believe that a supermarket may have a fancy style like it has here but almost every supermarket has a similar interior feel and this just lacks that which you can fix by adding some of the suggestions.
