Looks great! I would just recommend more of an inward type of look, as of right now it looks more like a plank/rectangle. Here are some great references -

If your going for a low poly sword, I’d say your just about right on the mark.
The sword looks a bit flat from the side view, otherwise, you did a fantastic job modeling this.
I wouldn’t go for an inward look unless you are trying to make it more cartoon looking. If he is going for a more realistic vibe then I think he is pretty much spot on except for maybe increasing the size of the sword’s guard a bit.
Agreed, if they were going for a realistic look I wouldn’t have suggested that.
