Feedback on teasers and introduction sequence

Hi, I made an introduction sequence for a funky little project I’m working on

i also made some teasers, here are all of them:

I’d appreciate any feedback, what can I improve? Is there anything I should avoid or try to do? You are welcome to comment on it

no clue why the first image teaser decided to not load

Already immersed with the classic Crossroads map, ironic and different. Great job!

The typewriter affect is great for horror dialogue too.

I like it so much! Looks amazing!
I love the letters, the spacing between the sentences, it’s pretty good!
I also love that light from the gun, the circle that it creates looks so realistic! Also the sounds of the game when, I guess, you spawn and take the gun.

I only had two things I think would make it better:

  1. I feel like the phrase “trust me on this one” is something very informal, and for a horror game I feel like a more “formal,” or “less-directed-to-you-as-as-if-you-were-a-friend” type of thing would work best. What you could do as a solution instead, wold be keeping it and instead writing
“You don’t want to be alone in the dark… Trust me on this one.” I feel an ellispis would be better than that comma, it’s much more unnerving/intimidating. It gives a pause to let you “fear” what’s coming; something the comma doesn’t do.
Keep it or leave it, I did feel the ominous fear that there is something out there in the dark haha.

  2. The sound of the typing machine sounds good, but maybe making it slower or lower in volume would make it even better. In my opinion, the speed and volume at which it’s going gives the recording more of a feeling of advanced technology like spaceships or something, not that specific horror the game seems to be in. Making it slower, lower in volume would give that horror feel to it.

Hope I was able to help. I loved the whole teaser and everything in it. Great work.

That intro looks great, amazing even! Gives me a similar feeling to the intro in ULTRAKILL.

I enjoy it, do more of that!
