Feedback on this building I made?

I’m working on enhancing my building skills so I started building in studio, should I add anything to the building that I made and work on any skills? I’m trying to get good enough to make commissions for robux.

That looks really nice. I think you can already start doing commissions. I’m not sure about that though since I’m not a builder.

I really like your building! But I think you should practice more before you open commissions. :happy1:

I think you did really good! I would experiment with more depth on the window sills, Other than that I think it looks pretty good! If you think and feel ready for commissions go for it!

Thanks for telling me this before I started!

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll try to work more on the window sills.

It looks decent enough but I agree with what @Len said up about practicing more

Hey nice build, buddy!
I would suggest you to add some stairs at the door.

I think you need to practice a bit more before making comissions, try making big/medium maps instead of small builds, so your portfolio will be rich of examples!

Have a good day :coffee:

I’ll start practicing before I do commissions.

What do you mean by big/medium maps?

Sorry if i was not clear, my english is still bad

I mean maps like cities and places where you can actually walk around, for example if you use low-poly, you can make a simulator map and more people will have interest in your work because it is bigger and have more things than simple builds

(i don’t know how to explain, sorry)

You gave a perfect explanation, thank you! Also, your English was pretty good, I just didn’t know what a map was.

It’s going to take quite a while to get good enough for commissions. I am a builder so here is what I can tell you about your building. Add more detail. Add some extra brick. Change the color of the middle parts above the window. Don’t change it so much it looks out of place from the back of the window topper, just move the color lower or higher slightly to give it better visibility. The door handle is far too large. The door itself is as big as your windows. You need some steps up to your door. Also, I recommend giving that door a little more detail. Try adding reflectance to the glass parts of your building. It looks good so far, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the corrective feedback, I’ll keep this in mind when making final touches to the build.

What do you mean by adding extra brick?

It definitely is a bit under-detailed as of right now! Possibly add a few plants, and pillars? Also those semi roof things that are above windows!

Okay. I’ll add some more plants, I don’t know where I can put any pillars though. I’ll try making the roof parts a little more detailed.

I think the best way to build is imagine your making that building with an interior, Start with the exterior and make sure you have a floorplan you could potentially make with that building, Such as if you make a really nice building but didnt add an interior but you might want to in the future instead having to remake the building cause it wasn’t fitted to have an interior if you pre-built it to have interior support such as proper door placement, windows and a place for parking it’ll really speed up the process in the future.

With the building you showed their I can’t really grasp their being an actual interior on it due to how its built, you might have 3 floors but the proportions for each for floor is all over the place.

You can add pillars at the sides of the building. (The corners.)
