Feedback on this game interface?

Hey, so I’ve been working on importing some new UI for a game, and I just finished on the main game HUD, and I just wondered if you guys had any suggestions as to things I should change to improve user experience.

The idea was to keep it very slim and out of the way. The game is a single-player, level-based game, and the UI is pretty minimal. So I figured I could merge the inventory frame with the energy and armor bars to look like one connected system.

Any feedback is appreciated, this is definitely very tedious for me as I’m not really that good as a UI designer (I hired some one to make the elements obviously.)

Thanks

Honestly I think that looks pretty cool! I’m getting a modern-ish action game kinda vibe, so if you’re going for that, good job! The hotbar looks nice as well. The only thing I might want to note is that the triangle in the top-left corner of the hotbar is not proportional to the rest of the bar. Since the other side (the lower-right side) is proportional, it looks unsatisfyingly ( is that a word ) asymmetrical. Don’t get me wrong, though; the entire UI as a whole looks really nice, and I don’t say that to many people!

The UI looks very good although this arrow looks smaller than the rest.image

I think I’d change the colors to match a bit better. I’m just not a big fan of how everything is a shade of blue except the health bar, which is a jarring green color. Otherwise the styling and everything is pretty good and the theme meshes together well. Nicely done.

The UI all together looks good, you did an amazing job putting it all together. I love how you made an inventory bar to fit in with the health and stamina(?) displays.

I like this a lot, I think what you have definitely works for what you’re trying to go for.

One thing I would like to suggest, since you said that you wanted to make the UI “out of the way,” I would recommend removing the dark blue background that is behind the hotbar slots (“1,” “2,” “3,” & “4”) so that there is less detail, and to give more focus to the actual hotbar slots themselves (I personally feel that background is intrusive to the objective).

The game user interface looks good, though something I recommend is that maybe making the text white and removing the outline/border on the text. Also, for the numbers, maybe make it a different font. Overall, the game user interface looks nice!
