My game is a story game. Of course not an ordinary story game.
So my game kinda requires an intro to know about the story.
Anyway, what do you think about it?
Do you like it? Yes or no. I’m here for feedback of course!
(Yes, the menu is inspired by the Hitman Games by IO Interactive)
Wow, this looks awesome. I might recommend adding something at the beginning where you have a black screen for quite a long time. Maybe something like “Powered by Roblox Studio” or whatever.
Other than that, the intro looks super good. I think it’s insane cool how you first have some sort of intro to the game and then get into the main menu. I am very curious to see what the game will be, because I am very interested myself. For the rest I would like to give as a tip to check via different devices that all formats are correct and it all fits. And maybe at the main menu the same song/music that at the intro but without the voices.
Firstly, thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it.
You indeed have to wait quite some time for the intro. And I agree with adding something that represents the game’s engine or something like that. Also, the main menu sounds indeed very quiet. Adding a background music to that is also a great idea. I just don’t know which song I need to use
For the intro, I really like it since it’s smooth and simple. Although, having to see that every single time when you join your game could irritate a lot of people, so maybe an option somewhere on the screen to skip through it would be nice, or even an auto-skip setting saved to a datastore.
For the menu, I love it. It’s super smooth and has a very reactive layout which is still easy to navigate. Good work man!
You could do so by loading a DataSave when a player joins, which has a Boolean that says if the player has joined before. If they have joined before, skip it, if not, set that value to true and save it for next time.
Good to know you thought of it beforehand
