Feedback on this horror house interior

Hey Roblox DevForum community!

I’ve been working on a house design for my horror game and would love to get your feedback. It’s a modern-style house from the 2000s and some cozy furniture, but I’m not sure if the lighting and layout are hitting the mark. Here’s a screenshot:

(i know the bathrom doesn’t have a toilet, just noticed rn :sob:)

What do you think about the atmosphere, furniture placement, and overall vibe? Any suggestions for improvement or details I might be missing? I’d really appreciate your input

When you make something that 99.99% of the population would have intense difficulty recreating… that’s when you know you’ve done a great job. Personal preference I don’t really like a lot of use of the wooden planks but everything else looks phenomenal especially the image with the ceiling fan and the square tiles on the floor. Keep up the amazing work :slightly_smiling_face:

It looks amazing but maybe some more carpets or smth on the floor… idk it just looks empty to me even though the interior looks great in general

oof, garages do not have doors that span the whole wall length, tiny mistakes like these can actually affect the vibe a lot

side of the kitchen looks pretty empty, maybe add some more cabinetsand counters? perhaps a microwave too. I love the style for the wood.

something here just feels empty, and the TV just feels like it’s in an inconveintent spot. Though I do like that closet type model.

This area actually feels really cozy, maybe add some grain to the curtains because they tend to stand out a lot. same with the officer chair

this also feels pretty big for a bathroom, it’s hard to suggest what you could add, considering you already did point out you forgot a toilet.

this area is also cozy but in my opinion the base of the stairs just seems way too high or thick.

the floor looks too clean here and the way things are placed does just feel off, maybe try adding boxes and stuff, it helps a lot

this is cozy, maybe it could use some details like rugs, and again the curtains do look off

I feel like the roof is almost too tall, though that’s just me. and maybe add some more details like posters or plants here

this is probably the best area, not much I can say as it feels like a living space and it’s not too cluttered. maybe more texture to the curtains

that is all my feedback, other than it this is a good build

As the others have said, it’s fundamentally very good. Please don’t be offended by these suggestions, but I always find criticism more useful than “it’s great”.

I would reduce the size of the planks on the floor in the bedroom (squares of 4 planks), they look too large to me.

The ceilings look too high, but I’m guessing this is a third person camera compromise.

The archway in the last image shows the wall looking about half as thick as I would expect.

The bathroom is too big.

Generally it feels very sterile, and sparse; that’s cool if it is the look you are going for, but it could easily take more rugs / pictures / wall lamps / furniture / clutter / dirt.

All that empty rack space in the cellar.

Stools for the kitchen island. More units. Nothing left out on the worktop / stove? Something wrong with the shadows above the wall cupboards with a downlighter above them.

My garage was never that tidy.

TV in the dining room, but no sofas.

Looks nice. I think it would look better if you didn’t have many spaces around the house that are too big.

Idk but this gives me vibe of backroom?
A rare feeling, not sure.

Btw, good job.

This horror house interior looks AWESOME! Great job on it! The emptier it feels, the better! How long did it take to make this? What will the game be about?

Looks great, but in my opinion some parts seem kind of empty. It’s missing a lot of assets. Here is a few I can think of. Clock, shelves, tables, rugs.

Garage could use more detail to make it feel more alive. Maybe put like a workbench, tools, a bicycle, and/or some storage
