Feedback on this Icon I made in 60 seconds

Howdy.

I’m in no means an artist whatsoever, I’m a programmer, and purely a programmer. I’m creating a tool for development (I don’t really want to share what it is just yet, but it’ll be unique and never done before). I like to name my creations after myself by putting in the letters “Bq” before most of my creations for branding purposes.

I aim for a very easy to look at, simple, and memborable logo that will be recognizable, so I created this in like 60 seconds on the free website Crello.

Please provide feedback and ways to improve on it, as I literally just slapped down the letters “b” and “q” on an image lol

It looks decent, but rather boring to use. I suggest establishing your own icon palette and a nice and unique font that will compliment your color palette, in order to have a much more unique & memorable style. Also, make your “Bq” pop that the background, changing color or shale can avoid confusion.

If you do wish to continue and pursue this, I recommend changing the font & search for your desired background that will depict your service.

Make it simple, yet memorable.
