Great work!
A couple of notes for feedback:
I did render in 1920x1080… (30 chars…)
Cool work! But there’s a lot of room for improvement.
The lighting is really dark, and the running poses don’t really look natural at all. There are no textures on the wall behind the characters, so it looks quite empty. There are some interesting posing mistakes such as right here.
Overall, it’s a pretty good thumbnail! One thing I do recommend is not making yourself at the front of the thumbnail, (you can put yourself there, just not at the focal point) since you already have a watermark that signifies your ownership of the thumbnail. Great job! ^^
It’s pretty nice, however one of the renders’s legs are floating mid-air:
It needs better lighting, and, like @Winky_y said:
As right now the thumbnail is 680 x 383. Which is a ratio of 680:383. 383 is a prime number and there’s no way that the ratio could be 16:9 due to that fact. It would have to include decimals.
That is a horrendous number. Your image is going to get distorted due to the picture size being so wacky.
That’s also a low pixel size for an image, the thumbnail should be 1920 x 1080 (16:9 ratio.) It’s going to look horribly blurry once you upload it.
Please, make your image higher quality and fix the aspect ratio.
The thumbnail doesn’t seem that interesting if the developers are having a party where people come together and interact with each other you should implement- add that to your thumbnail have developers socializing and talking to each other instead of running in similar ways and pose forms.
Spice it up a bit include useful lighting source reflecting the colors in the background on the surface or shadows casting, down on the ground from the bright colors that’s in the back of the characters. Why not place other characters that look like they’re interacting with each other in the background sitting to make the scene stand out it’s a party after all?
The lighting, isn’t that noticeable. Try to increase the brightness don’t make it too bright nor dark try adding little lighting in the corners. The scene looks, really bland compared to the lighting source, try adding lighting in the corners or above the characters shining on the ground creating shadows. Otherwise it’s decent it just needs a few tweaking here and there.
It looks great! my only thing is maybe try work on the lighting for the scene as it feels quite flat in a sense.
