I think it looks okay personally, but it always helps to get an extra eye to point out any possible improvements you can’t put your finger on yourself.
If anything, I need help with the faucet. I think it looks a bit too basic and blocky compared with the tub itself, but the only interesting designs I could come up with were copying other showcases verbatim. I’m completely sapped for ideas at this point
If you have issues coming up with ideas try looking at images of tub faucets online. There’s lot’s of weird and wonderful ideas you can get from there.
Only comment/suggestion I have is that the tub looks a little oversized.
Based on the studs on the baseplate, your tub is around 4/5 studs wide and 10 studs long.
For reference, a default sized roblox character (no scaling) is 5 Studs tall and 4 Studs wide.
When creating models, I like to insert a copy of myself using the Avatar Importer by Cytronyx.
Alternatively, you can use the Soldier or Zombie models from the toolbox.
I tried to copy the dimensions from the official Roblox “tub/shower combo” model. However, you’re right; I went in with my character and it felt like I was sitting in a canoe. Thanks for the advice.
Looks amazing! The curves, details, and everything! I’m especially surprised by the fact you used cylinders instead of meshes. Its those little details that make builds great! However, as @UltimaAnthony said i think its a bit oversized. Likewise, I think you can maybe experiment with the faucet? Although is looks good by itself i think a curved one would look better. To help with curves use Archimedes. ^ _ ^
I’ve actually updated it (meaning I rebuilt it entirely) since then.
I downsized it quite a bit; the current dimensions are 6.8 x 3.3 studs rather than 9.6 x 4 or whatever it was before.
Here’s what the faucet looks like in better detail. I took the design from before and added a bit more detail:
And you can see I added some extra stuff like the plant, soap, and the wall around the tub itself.
LOL yeah. I sort of live in the past when it comes to Studio so I’m not that well acquainted with using custom meshes for everything
