I had the idea to make a game called ROBLOX OS which simulates an operating system but in ROBLOX. It’s currently no where close to be finished but I want your guys’ feedback on what I should change and add to the game. Please read the instructions in the game description.

That is really something you don’t see everyday on Roblox. Nice idea!
And I have some ideas to make the bare-bones of this better:

  1. Make an “OS setup”, which acts as a tutorial for new players, like how you need to setup Windows before using it.
  2. Don’t show the player’s character in the login screen, it makes the game not OS-like.
  3. Customizeable background (from “pre-installed” pics or from asset IDs)
  4. Screen savers and login screen activated after a custom amount of time and can be changed.
  5. Add “applications”, that will make the OS a lot more interactive.
  6. Update screen whenever the player choose to update (that activates a soft shutdown script), or when the game owner forcibly soft-shutdown all servers.
  7. Mini-games, to make the OS more fun to “use”.
  8. Player-to-player interaction (cross-server)

Is there a goal or objective you are working towards in the game? Such as accumulating coins to purchase the best item or something like that.
