Feedback opinions on my Horror Game Teaser Announcement

Opinions…? Thoughts?
Any improvements I could make in the future?

Need some more camera work, the Roblox camera’s plugin is still quite limited, and hard to get it good. So I recommended getting fewer scenes of the camera flying around and more action and more scenes of your game.

So I’m not like a movie or video or camera expert of any sort.
But to me this video just looks like a bunch of random angles of a building and a car. If you hadn’t specifically said it was meant to be a horror game, I wouldn’t have considered that’s what it was.

I think the first two shots are good–not the shots themselves but the idea they bring about. They give me a security camera vibe and make me feel like I’m suppose to be on the look out for something, such as for example a monster in your horror game.
The third shot that views the entire building is literally just a view of the building to me. You probably meant it as a way to introduce the viewer to the location, but since it’s different from the previous two shots I don’t think it matches well and as an introduction I couldn’t care less. Same for the following shots of the car (well truck)–it brings attention to the car but the car has no significance to me nor anything of interest on it.
And then you move on to this moving camera thing that at first I thought was the perspective of a person on the floor, but it wasn’t. For some reason it was just on the ground. And then the camera flies around and moves weird.

You could try having the kind of teaser that makes everything look completely normal at first, but as the video goes on and the shots change darker more horrific clues start to show up. And these hints get more and more obvious, and then you can continue as if these hints aren’t there (even though they clearly are) or you can focus on them.
Or you can opt for a very obvious gameplay teaser that showcases the actual experience of the game and less focus on theatrics.

The scenes changed too fast in the beginning and nothing particularly mysterious or horrific was shown.

The editor who composed this video/edit for the game made the camera work through Blender. I didn’t want to include alot of action cause I only wanted to give the impression like “Hey! This studio is making a horror game!” and that’s 'bout it. When I make a trailer for the game, then I plan to do exactly what you just said.

I understand what you’re saying, now that I think about it I took the wrong approach. I might consider doing a second teaser (Better this time) but the newest one will have more actions/scenes from what you suggested.

Thank you for giving a detailed description. I wanted to give the impression like: “Hey, this game is releasing soon so you should check it out!” I didn’t want to include too much cause I was saving that when I made an official Trailer launch.

But if these doesn’t give you a horror game vibe then yeah I mess up. I might consider making a second teaser to fix the mistakes that occurred in this one. But basically, stop with all the unnecessary camera movement, have more mystery, more gameplay, and more action? Noted. Thank you for the advice!

I’ll try to fix the mistakes in future videos then. Thank you for your opinion!

The scene is good, the work is good, the problem is where is the objective? Some scenes were great but moving further into the video, they are repeated scenes with random camera angles.

I think that at 0:00 to 0:10 seconds it is a good start, giving an appearance of surveillance cameras, very interesting, I think everything would have been saved if at the end something more interesting appeared, like a creature, clues about what your game will be about.

but anyway, good job, these are just opinions, I’m not a film or recording professional.
