Still a long way to go, but I’ve got a semi-playable version of my homage to the Bust-A-Move / Puzzle Bobble game from the nineties. Anyone remember this?:
Turns out that what I initially thought would be something simple to build was very complex; at least for my skill. There are still plenty of bugs and glitches in the gameplay. I made a fundamental decision to keep all movement and shooting on the client thinking it’d be a more satisfying experience. It worked well for me in testing, but I’ve found that on more laggy systems the game breaks down, so I may move more to the server.
Here is my Roblox version. Appreciate feedback and any bugs found!
