Since it’s such a simple design, I don’t think you need to add anything else in terms of building the mochi. I suggest finding a powdery texture to add the effect of the mochi having some sort of icing sugar on it. Like this:
Keep up the good work!

It’s pretty good, and simple. Everything Ezuryl suggested is on point.
Ty for the suggestion, I will look for a texture for the mochi.
I think you might want to change what’s in the Mochi because it looks like chocolate.
Mochi’s taste mostly represents its color eg… Pinkish Red = Strawberry Mochi.
I really like how you made the shape of the Mochi it looks nice ,
You might just want to make the texture ice
making it ice instead of plastic will give it that powdery frozen look.
[Addition edit]
To add on that you could make the outside layer have a gooey texture feeling by making it a little bit transparent.

Beautiful! I love all of the details in it, looks very delicious!
Are you planning on releasing a game featuring these designs in it? This model would be perfect for a cafe, or more specifically, a bubble tea place/Japanese snack shop. I’d love to see what you do with your modelling skills!
As feedback, I don’t have much to say as it’s just about perfect in my eyes. As suggested previously, the insides of the mochi should probably be more flavour-orientated, eg. strawberry having a red/pinkish/whiteish filling.
Great job, I must congratulate you on making such a wonderful model. This post really lightened up my mood!
Yes, well my friend and I but she isn’t sure if release a game or not. There’s a posibility that we give the models for free.
I will change the colors of the filling also tysm for the suggestion! I didn’t think about that.
