[Feedback Request] Futuristic Loading UI for FPS Game

Hey everyone!

I’m working on Lyricon, a fast-paced first-person shooter with fluid movement mechanics (think drone combat with dash abilities and bounce pads). I’ve been polishing the loading screen UI and would love feedback on its design, functionality, and overall vibe. The goal is to make it feel sleek, modern, and immersive while keeping players engaged during load times.

Questions for Feedback:

  1. Visual Design: Does the UI feel cohesive with a futuristic FPS game? Any suggestions for improving the color scheme, gradients, or animations?
  2. Clarity: Is the progress indicator easy to understand? Does the text distract or enhance the experience?
  3. Pacing: Do the loading messages and typewriter effects feel too fast/slow?
  4. Bonus: Any ideas for additional polish (e.g., sound effects, micro-interactions)?

Looks good so far - may I suggest using a monospace font to more accurately emulate a terminal, and also possibly including light background effects?

Absolutely! I was considering changing the font but I wasnt sure what to… Thanks for the feedback!

As for background effects, do you have anything specific in mind??

Perhaps something akin to the visuals you’d see in a Marvel movie when Iron Man is shown from the inside of his suit?

Low quality image, but:

A lot of these effects are super futuristic - could add some flair to the terminal and give the user something else to look at while the game loads
