I’ve put together a various of my old models and I would like to gather feedback. I’m trying to go for a realistic theme, everything is to a basic level at the moment and will be polished throughout the development.
The video I’ve uploaded I’ve needed to compress to fit the 10mb limit. Apologies for any glitches or low quality in the video.
The blinking UI, breathing, and heartbeat constantly happening are all jarring, I’d remove them. I guess that’s what you meant by “realistic.” I assumed it’d be the graphics. I guess it might make sense in context, just not happening all the time.
The rest of it though looks good. I especially like the blue wall that fades. The punching animation could have an animation event at the end and play a punching sound. And, there’s that one animation at about 25 seconds where the leg is in the ground.
I understand, I did think all that was a bit odd but I just got bored and did whatever that was.
Graphics wise I’m not really going for something over the top, I just want it to be as immersive as I can possibly do.
I’ll try polish up the punching, animations are not my strong point and I’m planning on trying to change the player character to a custom model so I will need to re-do those animations anyway.
The random leg in the ground is I believe a mixture of my bad animations and Hip Height tweaking.
This realistic theme looks good, but it doesn’t really make sense with it being in third person view instead of first person with the blinking and stuff.
I’ll look into that, I am going to start working on an explosion system where when you take damage depending on how far away you were and how much damage is how much tinnitus you get (If It was something loud)
