[FEEDBACK] ROBLOX Thumbnail Render

So, before, I usually animate the poses on ROBLOX studio and then import it into Blender which makes parts look “chunky” or not connected. Recently, I’ve been learning how to do it with a rig and here are the results:

I was wondering how I would be able to improve my renders, as you may have noticed I’ve used an actual map from ROBLOX to make the background.

Any feedback is appreciated and if there are any properties of the camera I can edit for higher quality render I do not know of I’d love to know!

Simple! Just use lightinng you can find tutorials on YouTube

I’ve tried searching but I’m wasn’t able to find any tutorials that helped. I’m not very experienced with Blender either. Do you have any tutorials that I can use?

Found a tutorial that uses the “Posing in Studio” method.

I never would’ve been able to make the renders i have if it wasnt for this guy, probably would given up in GFX art skill instead.

Here’s some of the renders i made below:

Hope I helped!

That’s very cool! I’ve also seen the same tutorial to create mine. I’ve finished editing mine and I will edit the original post to show you what I’ve made. I’d like some feedback.

Looks pretty great for a first thumbnail!

The lighting here is a bit odd, but a smudge tool can fix it.

GIMP is useful btw.

It looks really good! The character looks a little dull to me but I think that could be easily fixed if you played with the lighting for a little. Good work and good luck on your future renders!

I’ve updated the post and was wondering if I could get more feedback

I didn’t want to create another thread since this one is quite new as well as to prevent spam.

I’d like to know how well I did for the other one.

Better! The front view has too much shadow though, if it was night it’d be more understandable.

His whole face is covered in shadow…which could be from the cap but still…it just looks off since the scenery is so bright and all.

Maybe add another lamp in front and then it should be perfect.
