Hello! My name is Lucifervonhart,
I was developing a SCP facility a just for skill a while back and now wondering i if i should sell it as it is. This is 1 - 2 days of developing and i was wondering how much i could possibly sell it for.
I believe this is the wrong category, considering your asking for how much it should sell for and not selling it as you said in the title. I’d suggest moving this to #help-and-feedback:building-support also if it’s incomplete, you should definitely complete it fully before selling it, also make sure to get an official and fair price before selling as well.
Alright, I’ve been in the SCP Genre for a very long time so I’ll give my two cents here. Before considering to sell the facility, you need to look at its positives and negatives,
Positives
Unique Design
Decent Flow
Unique Exterior Landscape
Nothing is set in stone
Good for a RolePlay Facility
Now, let us look at the negatives,
Negatives
Hallways are long, large, and confusing
There isn’t much flow between the Entrance and the Containment hallways
No really directional signs or indicators (Easy to get lost)
Not much detail
Copied from an online photo
Differences in detail
With all this being said, professionally I could probably offer you around 5K Robux for this facility (upon completion), as it could be used a roleplay site or used by a beginning group. However, to be blunt, this facility does not keep up with the level of quality that is held by major groups within the genre, ex. CreepySins’ Foundation or Software’s Foundation. I’d recommend marketing this towards smaller groups to increase your chance of sales.
I personally like the builds a lot. Though if you want any ideas of what an SCP Facility should look like, I suggest looking in the actual site and get information there. I greatly dislike how in most SCP games particularly 096 the containment procedures are completely wrong. If you want a rough idea, I suggest clicking on these links: Foundation Facilities - SCP Foundation and Ouroboros - SCP Foundation.
I agree with ClientScripts on the Positives though I think the hallways should be long, large and confusing. I really like the fog. Though I think in every SCP game I have seen, there is a lack of security. If you can make players feel “safe” so to say, because SCP breaches are meant to be rare.
