it looks great. but as a player I would like to see icons a little smaller

You think to make the icons in the buttons smaller ?
Yes. you have the right part of the foot on the “pets” button almost crosses the boundaries of the button. but this is my opinion. to change or not to change is up to you

Maybe spread out the buttons just a bit? they’re a little too close, but other than that, looks great!

I think it looks great! I would just avoid using small text with the icons as it may be too small to see for some users. Instead, keep only the icons, and also make the images somewhat smaller (so it looks less constrained)
