Hey Developers! I recently made this UI and I’m not quite sure if it looks good to others (To be honest I’m not proud of it but I can’t do any better without some feedback), so I am asking for some feedback from you guys. I am by no means a good UI Designer so I want some feedback. This is for a minigame place that I’m working on.
Looks flat needs to be more rounded and 3d looking! But not bad
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll make it rounded.
Np just trying to help you out!
Looks great! Not really sure what to suggest rn.
It looks really good, as you have already said that you’re going to make it look rounded, maybe change the colours, usually shop GUIs use multiple schemes of the same colour, or different colours for the main background and the buttons. I’d suggest adding something to the shop, like how much money the user has and a close button (X).
Personally, I prefer not using borders but use shadow.
Apart from that, putting strokes in your text does not resolve the contrast issue (eyestrains)
You might want to fine-tune the UI by making the green button a bit darker.
Here’s a few green colors ROBLOX uses; https://www.roblox.com/reference/styleguide#green
as for your text
it’s pretty well scaled, looks nice to the eye, the sizing is pretty solid as well
for the design
it’s simple af
tbh i have nothing bad to say about this, however considering how simple it is it isn’t crazy either
honestly a light gradient where the white is right now wouldn’t do much harm to the whole design
good luck with your minigame! i’m sure if you keep all the UI uniform to this aesthetic you’ll come out successful. What I like to do to my UI is to play around with the colors. Try assigning a background color, a border color and a “fill” color for whatever the player can interact with, and see how that works out in terms of design. Also, if you’re looking to capitalize, perhaps you could add a “Color UI” gamepass that would sell for like a ridiculously small amount of money, and you could allow players to customize their UI with colours of their own liking.
To me, rounded edges or not is completely up to you. If you’re using Windows, and imagine all of a sudden all the app has rounded edges, that would not look so good, right?
I think you’re achieving a pretty decent UI, you might just need some background colour and border adjustments for the centre frame.
Thank you so much for suggesting that webpage, I’ll check it out when I can!
this look Cool and decent but it need to be like a little bit small and the item ( the face with a glasses)i don’t know if you want feedback on that but if you want then it need to say which item it is like there need to be a name and when u press it it make that item a little bit more darker and the button that is middle left of the screen (it says Shop ) it need to be a bit more big from length and width* !!
Otherwise everything is perfect in my opinion And if you got time you can help me on my group game
Looks good! But could be a little more clean.
I don’t think white is a good color for GUI. I’d either do light blue, orange or black. I don’t think it needs to be rounded.
Your UI design looks decent. I think you should add colour to the GUI. You could also try playing around with the transparency. You could also attempt to add something like a gradient. I think its better to utilise the tools available on Roblox Studio to enhance the UI.
Since you are making a minigame, I think a more cartoony font may suit the UI more.
I recommend using programs like Adobe XD (Which is free) to do your UI designs as I feel they have more tools available for you.
Nice! I really like the design, but you could make the corners rounded, and maybe add some more color. The UI looks really smooth and modern! Good job!
It’s pretty basic and there’s not much going on.
Going with a cartoony design could make this look way better!
I don’t know if you’re meaning to go for this but it seems too plain, try putting a background behind the items you want the players to buy
Another suggestion would be to remove the " ! " On the “Buy!” Button, it seems odd, unless you want that there as your personal preference it’s fine
Other than that I don’t know what else you could do it looks pretty good!
I agree with @BriPlaysRB_YT, it should be more round. I would also add a dropshadow to the Buy button at the bottom right, and make the background color not white. When in development, white can be used to make your work mroe underwhelming and manageable, but once you finish UI I recommend making a more “game fitting color”. Then keep the grey background on the Power-Ups and Trails.
