[FEEDBACK] V-200 Commando Tank Prototype

This is a tank based off the V-200 Commando Or The M706. I built this tank in my free time and i just need some feedback on it so i can improve it!

I definitely like this model! Looking at some references online like this one:

You can definitely see that it houses some larger wheels, and a little less guns!
Maybe whenever you go back in and revise the model you could add in those items?

Keep it up though!

Thank You For The Feedback! I Will Definitely Incorporate those in!

Looks really cool, will you use it in game or showcase?

Similarly to the last tank model you make, there is a lot of clipping.

Clipping & Nonalignment

image

It looks good enough to be placed in a temporary game but if you want it to be like really good, You will need to have it be much more detailed. Don’t get me wrong tanks are hard to make, but honestly, it does not look like you put much time into it. Unless that was the point.

Advice

Think about a smaller scale vehicle. Like a car for example.

Car Blueprint

Look at all the necessary parts and components and how much detail is placed, just in the blueprint. You want to reference an image exactly if you want your creation to be detailed.

Now look at the tank you want to build.

V-150 Commando Blueprint

You want all your components to fit to prevent nonalignment and clipping. Either start from bottom to top or left to right. It is advised you get the body correct. Looking at CreepySins’ image (big fan):

CreepySins' Tank Model

We can see the body is shaped specifically in a polyhedral form similar to a triangle since triangles are the strongest polygon you may get. Like CreepySins said, large wheels with thick tyres for off-terrain. A dome like top with a cannon attached to it. With a from not dissimilar to an actual car than just two wedges. It is not a bad idea to look at your follow developer’s models in the Toolbox.

Example: Daedlierfrog's "TANK ATV"

You can see that is it quite similar to the V-200, with the cannon being slightly different. You can ungroup Daedlierfrog’s “TANK ATV” and look at all the different components. See how Daedlierforg approached and and learn from it.

I hope you find use with this feedback.

Really cool! I’d suggest using a variation of materials, such as metal & diamond plate etc. If you really want to challenge yourself, try using textures to give it that woah vibe.

Thank You Very Much For This Feedback!
